FAQ
What are the best horror game deals on PC right now?
The biggest horror discounts we track today are We Were Here Too at $0.97 (Gamesplanet, -90%), Stories Untold at $0.99 (Gamesplanet, -90%), Pathologic Classic HD at $1.29 (GOG, -90%). Prices come from authorized stores only and change fast, so check the store before you buy.
Should I wait for Steam Scream to buy horror games?
Steam Scream V runs October 26 to November 2, 2026, and only horror and Halloween games take part. If a game here already has a BUY verdict (10 today), its price is at or near its all-time low, so waiting may not save anything. For a WAIT game, the fest is a good time to check again.
How does LootDrop decide which games are horror?
We use Steam's own user tags, read through SteamSpy. A game counts as horror only when Horror, Psychological Horror or Survival Horror is one of its five most-voted tags, so games with a few joke horror votes are left out.
Do you list key resellers?
No. We only list authorized stores such as Steam, GOG, Humble, Fanatical and Green Man Gaming, never gray-market key resellers.
Horror tags: Steam user tags via SteamSpy. Prices: CheapShark API; "Get deal" links go through CheapShark's redirect to the store.
