Is GameBillet legit? An honest answer (2026)

Short answer: Yes. GameBillet is an authorized key store, not a gray-market keyshop. It says every key comes directly from the publisher, and SEGA Europe lists it as an approved retailer. The catch is refunds: once you reveal a key, you generally can't get your money back. Facts checked October 19, 2026.

What GameBillet is

GameBillet sells digital PC, Mac and Linux game keys and says gamebillet.com is the only domain it operates from.
It says all of its keys come directly from publishers and that it does not support gray-market or code-stripping practices, so keys shouldn't get revoked.
SEGA Europe's approved partner list (the stores SEGA says are authorized to sell its games) includes GameBillet, alongside Steam, GOG, Humble and Fanatical.
Its terms say payments inside the European Union are collected by GB Digital Distribution OÜ, and prices include VAT where it applies.

Is it cheaper? LootDrop's own price data

In LootDrop's latest price check, GameBillet had a price for 291 of the 727 PC games we track, and it was the cheapest authorized store (or tied for cheapest) for 60 of them. So it's worth checking, but it isn't always the best price.

What customers say

On Trustpilot's main site GameBillet had a TrustScore of 4.6 out of 5 from about 543 reviews when we checked. Most reviewers mention fast key delivery. The complaints that come up are that dollar prices can end up a little higher than other stores after currency conversion, and that refunds are strict once a key is revealed. Trustpilot scores change daily and differ a little between its country sites.

Refunds and support

GameBillet's refund policy allows a refund within 14 days of purchase only if you have not revealed the key (or activated a direct-activation game). It says it will replace a key or refund you within 48 hours if a key doesn't work and support can't fix it. Disputing the payment with your bank instead gets the order treated as fraud and the codes revoked.

How to buy from GameBillet safely

Check the price on our game page first. GameBillet is the cheapest authorized store for some games, not all of them.
Read the region notes on the game's store page before you pay.
Only reveal the key when you're ready to activate it, because revealing it ends your refund window.
If a key doesn't work, email [email protected] rather than opening a chargeback.

Verdict

Legit and safe for Steam keys. Buy there when it's actually the cheapest authorized price, and don't reveal the key until you're ready to use it.
